Titled 'Nachde Ne Saare', this one is on the same lines as 'Gallan Goodiyaan' and has a mix of Punjabi, Hindi and English lyrics by Aditya Sharma. The song that follows is the coming together of Farhan Akhtar-Karan Johar-Ritesh Sidhwani sensibility as Jasleen Royal returns with a celebration number that is based on Punjabi folk.
A sweet sounding track, it is also a completely different composition when compared to the other work of Arko. A heartfelt song about two lovers longing to be with each other, this one is as poetic as it gets and becomes all the more melodious during the 'antara' portions. Coming across as a track which could well have been a Pakistani sufi import, it is pretty much home-grown as Arko writes, composes and sings this one. Next to arrive is 'Dariya', a song that springs a pleasant surprise. Armaan Malik joins Neeti Mohan as her singing partner and together they come up with a rendition which would definitely have been a smile-through affair for them right through the recording. A happy song with a peppy feel to it, this one has a Farhan Akhtar touch to it, courtesy the kind of similar compositions that his regular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has put together for many a film. While Jasleen composes as well as sings this 'quite-of-the-night' track, she is also joined by Prateek Kuhad who writes as well as sings this one.Ĭomposer Amaal Mallik and lyricist Kumaar come together for 'Sau Aasmaan' which has Neeti Mohan's voice appearing right at the onset. Though it is a tad surprising to see a situational track like this appear right at the beginning of the album, you don't mind that for the soothing feel it carries.
Jasleen Royal, who came into prominence in the Bollywood music scene after singing 'Preet', gets behind the mike for yet another soulful number 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan'. Surprisingly though, instead of a single composer/composition team (which is otherwise a norm for the aforementioned producers), there is an array of music directors and lyricists seen on the credits. Moreover, with names like Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani coming together for the Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra film, you expect nothing but a fantastic score from Baar Baar Dekho. Well, 'Kaala Chashma' has already set the tone! Ever since the music video of the song went viral, there has been immense craze around checking out what the rest of the soundtrack has to offer.
